WOOLRICH, Pa., June 28, 2011— Woolrich, the Original Outdoor Clothing Company®, announces the hiring of Becky Egers as Merchandise Manager – Catalog/Internet.
Egers will be responsible for leading the merchandising, seasonal assortment planning, buying, and product positioning and pagination of the Woolrich consumer catalog and website.
“Becky’s extensive experience in the outdoor apparel industry coupled with her keen merchandising eye will make her a great addition to our team,” said Gary DeGaetano, Woolrich Vice President Direct to Consumer.
Egers joins Woolrich after 19 years with L.L. Bean where she held various positions including Senior Catalog Merchandiser for the Men’s and Women’s Divisions and most recently Retail Merchandiser. While at L.L. Bean, Egers responsibilities ranged from catalog and web merchandising, assortment planning, to sales analysis for men’s and women’s apparel, women’s outerwear, home furnishings, kids apparel, and retail lines.

Egers and her husband John will be relocating to the Woolrich area from Gray, Maine.

Woolrich® Presents David’s Limited with Custom Woolrich Subaru Outback
Woolrich, Pa, June 20, 2011 – Woolrich, the Original Outdoor Clothing Company™, last Friday presented key retail partner David’s Limited of Burnsville, NC with a 2011 Subaru Outback wrapped in the iconic Woolrich buffalo check design. David’s Limited received the vehicle as the winner of the Woolrich Holiday Display contest.
“Cristal and her team did a fantastic job weaving our product and heritage into their display and we’re excited to present her with this one of a kind Subaru,” said Brent Hollowell, Woolrich VP of Marketing.
As the winner of the Woolrich Holiday Display contest, David’s Limited will have use of the Woolrich buffalo check clad 2011 Subaru Outback for one year. Along with the vehicle, David’s Limited also received a Thule rooftop carrier wrapped in a Woolrich buffalo check design, which were awarded to each of the contests seven finalists.
“The Woolrich brand is a trusted favorite brand among our customers and we had a lot of fun putting together our display,” said Cristal Randolph, owner of David’s Limited. “We’re so excited to have this amazing vehicle. The Woolrich Holiday Display contest was based on submissions from Woolrich retailers of their shop displays during the holiday shopping season. The David’s Limited winning submission was selected based on votes cast for its display through Woolrich’s social networks.

Woolrich® Founder Descendant Josh Rich Joins Marketing Team
WOOLRICH, Pa., June 13, 2011— Woolrich announces the hiring of Joshua W. Rich, an eighth generation grandson of Woolrich founder John Rich. Rich joins the marketing team as marketing coordinator following a year working with Woolrich’s Italian licensee W.P. Lavori in Corso.
“Having a member of our marketing team who has an intimate understanding of the brand and the company’s history is invaluable,” said Brent Hollowell, Woolrich Inc. VP of Marketing.
Rich will be responsible for assisting the marketing team in various capacities including Woolrich’s social media activities. Rich will report directly to Hollowell.

Rich graduated with a degree in economics in 2009 from Trinity College, in Hartford, CT, where he also played for the men’s ice hockey team. He then spent a year in Italy with W.P. Lavori where he worked with their marketing and creative departments on the Woolrich John Rich and Bros. and Woolrich Woolen Mills labels.
